What do you most love to photograph/where do you find inspiration?
I like the idea of capturing some scene or moment that may otherwise go unnoticed. In the right lighting even simple subject matter can become visually striking material.
Inspiration usually finds me, when I have one of my older cameras on me, people will often spark a conversation based on their curiosity, whether it be about how the cameras work or the nostalgia instant film incites in them, so I like to snap a photo for them to keep. That photo becomes a tangible memory that they can share—along with the story about the guy who collects old cameras and takes pictures of strangers, perhaps.
What's your favorite thing about the Lehigh Valley?
The landscape, the people, the architecture, the sense of community that's often absent in a metropolis.
For instance, there are moments, like when I leave my apartment on a brisk Autumn morning en route to the farmers' market, and I regard the rustle of the leaves flirting with the sidewalk, and a stranger smiles and says "Good Morning" and suddenly, all's right with the World— Easton makes me feel that way, at that very moment at least.

Camera Used:
iPhone5s, Nikon D300
Day Job:

Passion Project:
The #ScenesFromMyCommute project. I have a bit of a drive to work, so every day I play the game of trying to notice something I've never seen before, or seeing familiar things in different ways, and use that [Scenes From My Commute] hashtag.
What do you most love to photograph/where do you find inspiration?
Old buildings, signage, little still life vignettes. Things that remain in this area that are crumbling on the edges and have so much beauty and character.
What's your favorite thing about the Lehigh Valley?
The creeks and little patches of woods. You don't have to go very far around here to disappear into nature for a bit.
