The Taste Smokers Grand Opening
This Friday, October 15, The Taste Smokers will officially open its doors to the public! There will be a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m., followed by a reception. Dinner will be available for purchase for dine in or takeout beginning at 5 p.m. RSVP by emailing laurens@lehighvalleychamber.org.
Halloween Dance Party at The Promenade
On Saturday, October 16, enjoy a Halloween Dance Party in the street between Barnes & Noble and Old Navy at The Promenade from 2–3 p.m. There will be a DJ and interactive games. Guests are encouraged to dress in costume!
Fall FEST at Valley Fruits & Veggies
Head to Valley Fruits & Veggies in Bethlehem on Saturday, October 16 and Sunday, October 17 to enjoy pumpkins, a corn maze, festive seasonal treats and more on this family-friendly farm. Find details and pricing here. The fun runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with more dates through Halloween.
Boo at the Zoo
Boo at the Zoo returns to the Lehigh Valley Zoo this weekend and continues through Halloween. Trick-or-treat from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., enjoy music and dancing with DJ Ray from noon to 2 p.m. and themed crafts, activities and a pumpkin patch throughout the day. Costumes are encouraged! The event is included in regular zoo admission.
Fall Restaurant & Retail Week
Celebrate small businesses with SouthSide Bethlehem's first-ever Fall Restaurant & Retail Week, kicking off on Monday, October 18. Dine at a participating restaurant, save your receipt and present it to a participating retailer to enjoy 10 percent off your total shopping purchase. The fun continues through Sunday, October 24.
Yoga in the Vines
On Thursday, October 21, support The Kindness Project with this event at Black River Farms. Yoga will take place outdoors from 5:30–6:30 p.m. and will be followed by wine and appetizers from 6:30–7:30 p.m. Tickets are $30.
Community Hike with Reset Outdoors
Reset Outdoors is hosting a community hike at Dodson Street Park in Fountain Hill on Thursday, October 21. Hikes are limited to 15 people and are meant to be mindful experiences that foster a sense of community through time spent outdoors and self-care.
