Afternoon Tea at the Sayre Mansion
The Sayre Mansion in Bethlehem is holding an afternoon tea from 2–4 p.m. on Thursday, March 31. Charcuterie Workshop at Folino Estate Winery
This Friday, April 1 from 6–8 p.m., Folino Estate Winery in Kutztown is hosting a charcuterie workshop where Melissa Fimbres of The Grazing Honey Bee will guide guests in assembling the perfect meat and cheese board. All of the ingredients needed to create a proper board are included with the purchase of a ticket as well as a glass of wine, and a 10 percent off voucher to be used at the Bottle Shop. Gourmet Easter Egg & Wine Pairing at Weathered Vineyards and Winery
This weekend, head to Weathered Vineyards and Winery in New Tripoli for a tasty Easter pairing. Wine will be paired with gourmet chocolate Easter eggs made by Tara's Treats & Goodies on Friday, April 1, Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3. Guests can choose between four chocolate pairings, including chocolate peanut butter, white chocolate orange truffle, chocolate blackberry and dark chocolate vanilla truffle. Pairings are $3 each and no reservations are needed.
Bunny Palooza at The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley
On Saturday, April 2, guests are invited to Bunny Palooza, happening on The Patio at the Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley. The fun will begin at 9 a.m. with music, games, bubbles and a special guest appearance from the Easter Bunny. Then, at 10:30 a.m., Barnes & Nobles is inviting everybody inside for a festive story time and craft. Photos with the Easter Bunny will continue through Saturday, April 16.
DIY Workshop at AR Workshop
To celebrate the start of spring, AR Workshop Easton is conducting a DIY succulent terrarium and macramé hanger workshop this Saturday, April 2 from 10 a.m. to noon. Attendees will learn to create a one-of-a-kind mini succulent garden and macramé hanger. All workshop essentials, including three succulents, a 6-inch glass container, moss, soil, rocks, macramé rope and step-by-step instructions are included in the $50 registration fee. Cars & Coffee Lehigh Valley Season Opener at SteelStacks
The first Cars & Coffee event of the season is slotted for Sunday April 3 from 8 a.m. to noon. Everyone in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas is invited to spend the morning showing off their automobiles, observing others' cool cars and meeting people with the same interest. There will be specialty parking for exotics and Cars & Coffee picks at the Cobblestone Visitor Center and the Polished Brick Movie Theater, but all makes and models are welcome.
Author Signing at the Moravian Book Shop
Author Kathie Klein and illustrator Connie Gilbert are heading to the Moravian Book Shop in Bethlehem on Sunday, April 3 to sign copies of their brand-new children's book—Memories of South Bethlehem! From 1–3 p.m., the two will be connecting with children and adults alike over their alphabet book that recalls the history of the area and growth of the steel industry. Quantities of the book are very limited, so get there early.
Lehigh Valley IronPigs Season Home Opener at Coca-Cola Park
Baseball season is officially back, and the Lehigh Valley IronPigs' home opener is set for Tuesday, April 5, with the first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m. The Pigs will face the Columbus Clippers in a nine-inning game under the lights. It is Tail Waggin' Tuesday at the ballpark, so your barking, four-legged friends are also invited. Enjoy a night filled with baseball, yummy food, good drinks, ice cream, and furry friends. Tickets are available for $9–$27 per person.
Lehigh Valley's Spring Bridal Show at the Americus Hotel in Allentown
On Thursday, April 7, the Americus Hotel in Allentown is hosting the Lehigh Valley's Spring Bridal Show, one of the region's premier wedding expo events. From 6–9 p.m., guests can expect a wonderful selection of the area's best wedding vendors, tours of the historic hotel venue, an array of food and cake samplings, honeymoon giveaways, door prizes and more.
