Her broad set of mediums includes clay, encaustics, paint to canvas and textiles. “The mix of art forms allows me to never trivialize one area and allows repetition of a theme, technique or subject without it becoming a mechanical process,” Bossert says. “My palette stays pretty consistent with an emphasis on composition and texture. My mind is always creating; I am constantly envisioning new ideas which I am anxious to see come to fruition.”
Bossert's clay and stoneware creations convey an earthy appeal while being both aesthetic and useful objects. Her water lily dish evokes the lush environment of a spring pond, while providing an inviting place for food, candles or jewelry. The sake sets are sensational and reek of Bossert's singular style.
