Serving the Downtown West community of Allentown, Amigos is a trendy, late-night spot perfect for those in need of a bite past 8 p.m. And starting on September 18, locals can grab tacos, burritos or a signature Amigos Bowl until 3 a.m. Amigos of Allentown prides itself on companionship and fresh ingredients, swearing that their customers will never want frozen food again. Their namesake is based on the strong friendship between the owners, Angel Ramirez and Kevin Rodriguez, that has lasted for over 25 years. And Chef Antonio is a key factor in producing great food for everyone to enjoy. “Chef Antonio is our secret sauce,” share Ramirez and Rodriguez. “Being a graduate of Art Institute of Philadelphia, Chef has cooked for the most prominent figures and celebrities, such as Madonna, NSYNC, Justin Timberlake and Emmanuel Stewart, just to name a few.” They hope to be a Downtown West anchor by offering residents a healthy alternative and giving their customers the confidence that they can eat well—even late at night.
