Summer Howard’s passion for baking emerged through the heartbreak of the loss of her grandmother. “During my grieving stage, I started baking more of my grandmother’s recipes and started doing it for friends and family,” says Howard. “I’m grateful she left her gift with me. I absolutely love creating cakes and making customers happy.” Film Cakez offers grab-and-go options as well as indoor seating. Customers can find delicious baked goods, custom cakes, dessert jars, pies and puddings. Howard’s specialty is called “cake mapping,” which is a combination of animations, photos and special effects projected onto a plain multitiered cake. “I just want everyone who visits Film Cakez Bakery to witness having fresh baked goods and excellent customer service in a friendly clean environment!”
