With a 10-year background in interior design, the pandemic was the push Samantha O'Donnell needed to take her dreams to the next level. “Event planning has always been something I've wanted to pursue, but I never felt that the timing was right or that I was able to give it my all,” she says. “I decided to take my creativity and detailed organization skills and completely consume myself in this industry.” She launched Lavish Haus Design + Event Co., offering full, partial or day-of wedding planning. Each package offers event coordination, a detailed timeline and a hands-on, day-of person. Wedding packages range from $1,250–$4,950. “I hope that clients walk away feeling that the best money they spent was hiring me,” she says. “I hope that they can honestly say that they felt relieved knowing that I had their back.”
