Owners Juan and Lauren Vargas say the five-year plan for Nowhere Coffee Co. always included two or three stores throughout the Valley, but they never thought it would happen so quickly. After opening a first location in Allentown in February 2022, Nowhere Coffee Co. opened its second location in Emmaus in August 2022. “A move-in-ready space was opening in the heart of Emmaus,” says Lauren. “Chad and Heather Balliet, owners of South Mountain Cycle, share our passion for coffee, community and customer service. They’ve owned and operated coffee shops of their own and have established themselves and South Mountain Cycle as an active part of the Emmaus community.” Lauren says the cafe had the Nowhere feel, boasting a huge fireplace and picturesque windows overlooking Main Street. Both say they are certainly feeling the love from the Emmaus community and are excited to offer outside seating at this location.
