After meeting by chance more than 15 years ago, Jessica Lievendag, MA, a licensed professional counselor, and Colleen Madden Pellegrino, MSW, a licensed clinical social worker, ended up working together at the same private practice in Bethlehem. Over a cup of coffee, they decided to open their own practice—Summit View Counseling. “Summit View was founded on the values of empowerment and collaboration,” says Lievendag. “We believe in empowering clients to get to their summit of emotional well-being. Through new insights, those who participate in therapy can heal, improve their confidence and thrive in their relationships.” This past May, Summit View Counseling celebrated its sixth anniversary. “Within that time, our office has seen more than 22,000 sessions,” says Lievendag. And with a beautiful new office space on South Cedar Crest Boulevard, Summit View Counseling has all the tools they need to help clients cultivate a happier and healthier life.
