Since 1995, Vasari Classic Artists’ Oil Colors has been helping artists personally select more than 130 colors and pigments. Now, Vasari is welcoming the Lehigh Valley to their new showroom at Easton’s Simon Silk Mill, where locals can watch the step-by-step process of creating different pigments. The personal experience of the showroom, matched with modern color chemistry, allows artists to experience small-batch handcrafting. What’s more, this experience is not only for the professional painter—anyone with an interest will be able to take in the interactive, artistic experience that Vasari is offering. “Seeing color in its purest form, as rich buttery paint that’s easy to brush right from the tube, is a treat for anyone,” says Stephen Salek, founder and paint maker. “Our library of books and exhibition catalogs collected over the past 30 years is a welcome inspiration for visitors to our Easton showroom and the display of antique art materials is a visual delight.”
