Scarecrow Showdown in Historic Bethlehem
The Scarecrow Showdown returned to Historic Bethlehem on Tuesday, October 1! Locals were tasked with crafting the most scarecrow-tastic creations possible—and now it’s time to vote for your favorite fall masterpieces. Through the end of the month, check out the scarecrows on Main and Broad Streets in Bethlehem and cast your votes by October 30. The winner will be announced on Halloween.
Fall Tasting Menu at The Other Fish
Join The Other Fish in Bethlehem for a fall tasting event on Saturday, October 26. The eight-course menu features roasted cauliflower miso soup, inari, nabanzuke, sunomono, curry katsu and more. Tickets are $75 per person. There is a seating at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Harvest Sundays at Folino
Your last chance to experience Folino Estate Winery’s Harvest Sundays is on Sunday, October 27. The family-friendly afternoon promises a tractor ride into the vineyard to pick your own pumpkin. Then, enjoy complimentary pumpkin painting in the Wine Garden. There are three tractor ride timeslots available: 1–2 p.m., 2–3 p.m. and 3–4 p.m. Tickets are available for $15 here.
West End Fall Crawl Cocktail Trail
Organized by The West End Alliance, the Fall Crawl Cocktail Trail will take place from 1–5 p.m. on Saturday, November 2. Sip, shop and stroll through the businesses and restaurants that make up the Theatre District, including West End Taproom, Lotus, Allentown Appliance, Civic Theatre, Sleepy Cat Urban Winery, The Udder Bar and more. Guests will enjoy a cocktail sample and/or light bites at each shop. Tickets are available for $35 here.
Wildlands Conservancy's Fall Photo Contest
Through Friday, November 8, enter the Wildlands Conservancy’s fall photo contest, sharing your snapshots of their 14 nature preserves. Autumn landscapes, macros, trails, fauna, flora, fungi, family, friends and beyond are welcome! The contest winner will receive a Wildlands Conservancy tote bag with merch.
Pumpkin Centerpieces Workshop
Head to Rodale Institute Founders Farm in Easton on Thursday, November 14 for a pumpkin centerpieces workshop from 1–4 p.m. Transform a pumpkin picked fresh from the farm into the container for a fresh floral arrangement. Pumpkins and flowers will be foraged by attendees exclusively from the organic Founders Farm. Tickets are $45 per person and available here.
Autumn at the Vineyard with Butterhead Kitchen
Escape to Domaine Pterion Vineyard & Winery for a 100-percent vegan dinner on Thursday, November 21 at 6:30 p.m. Butterhead Kitchen’s five-course made-from-scratch, fall-inspired vegan menu is paired with a tasting of five Domaine Pterion wines. Tickets are $100 per person.
