When women get together, the potential for good vibes and deep connection is legendary. Look for your interests in one of these social clubs and surround yourself with good conversation and perhaps a few besties-to-be on a monthly (give or take) basis.
1. FIT4MOM Lehigh Valley
The physical process of pregnancy and birth is a huge undertaking. The pre- and post-natal fitness programs through FIT4MOM Lehigh Valley support you physically through every stage so you can feel strong in a changing body. Stroller Strides, Barre, HIIT classes and a run club offer other avenues for wellness with a community of moms!
2. Books, Brunches and Booze
Reading, checking out hot local restaurants, conversation and the option of cocktails bring like-minded young women together to enjoy life’s simple pleasures. Using community suggestions, the group polls members nationally on what to read next, keeping the selections fresh and trendy. Not only is it a great way to find new books, it’s a perfect petri dish for growing friendships!
3. Sisterhood of W.I.N.O.S.
One truth is self-evident: ladies love wine. This inclusive group of Women in Need of Sisterhood, formed by women of color to correct a dearth of representation in the field, develops knowledge and appreciation of our beloved grape-based libation through meetups and visits to the many wineries and festivals that dot the Valley and beyond.
4. Root Collective
With retreats, workshops and a weekly meetup, this community created by a holistic psychotherapist provides women with all kinds of opportunities to grow in a space of support. In grounded, guided discussions you’ll have the chance to explore your emotional landscape and encourage other women to feel safe doing the same.
5. Mompreneurs
Owning a business and raising kids can be equal parts tough and rewarding, but we can have it all, especially with a little help from our friends. Share the unique ideas and experiences of entrepreneurship as a mom with this inspiring support group, which holds monthly meetings with guest speakers at Venture X in Bethlehem.
