Saint Nick of Bethlehem Opening Night
Saint Nick of Bethlehem, directed by local filmmaker Daniel Roebuck, is a true story of how one man became a Saint to many as Father Christmas brought light to darkness. The film was shot on-site in Bethlehem and features a variety of popular locations. The film opens throughout the season across various local theaters with the first beginning this Friday, November 22. You can find the film at The Roxy Theater in Northampton starting this Friday followed by an opening at Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas next Friday, November 29.
Pumpkin Sculpture Cake Class
Cake as Canvas, located on Broad St. in Bethlehem, is hosting a pumpkin sculpture cake class on Thursday, November 21, at 6 p.m. You will learn tips and tricks on using fondant and so much more in this cake sculpting class. Additional classes are available throughout the season including holiday cookie decorating, a holiday Christmas cottage class and a holiday cake decorating class.
The Craftery Market
Take a little road trip and have a fun shopping Saturday in Downtown Perkasie for The Craftery Market featuring over 80 local makers, food trucks, drinks and live music on Saturday, November 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. You’ll find curated artisans showcasing their handmade goods, antique and vintage treasures, original art, local baked goods and more. Admission and parking are free, but note this is an outdoor event, so dress accordingly!
Inside Scoop Holiday Cheer Advent Calendar Launch
It’s just about time to count down to Christmas and The Inside Scoop of Coopersburg has a very delicious way to do it! Check out their Scoops of Holiday Cheer Advent Calendar boxes featuring 12 festive ice cream flavors in the Holiday Box or the Classic Box. Each box contains 12 mini 2.5 oz. cups and all flavors are nut free. Holiday flavors include holiday mint, hot cocoa, gingerbread, eggnog and so many more. Boxes are $24.99 each and ordering runs 11/20 through 12/7.
Cornucopia Centerpiece Workshop
Gallivanting Greenhouse of Fogelsville is partnering up with Sherman Street Beer Company of Allentown to host a Cornucopia Centerpiece Workshop on Friday, November 22 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. For a $43 ticket the class includes all materials needed to make a woven cornucopia centerpiece filled with succulents, dried florals, feathers and a variety of moss. You will learn how to make this centerpiece as well as care for the included succulents. Drinks and snacks will also be available for purchase.
Jazz Brunch at Easton Public Market
Each Sunday for the fall and winter season Easton Public Market hosts a Jazz Brunch with live jazz music as you enjoy a variety of brunch items from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Market vendors include Green Vida Co., Saylor’s Market, The Modern Crumb, Threebirds Nest and many more.
