She was struggling with a bladder condition called interstitial cystitis (IC), which comes with unique diet restrictions. “There was only one [registered dietitian] specializing in IC in the world back then, so I decided to become the second,” she says. Fast-forward to today, and Krajcir helps clients everywhere through her business, Callie K Nutrition. She has these tips for easing into a healthier diet: “Eat a lot of variety and color, meaning fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, lean meats and healthy fats! Focus less on what not to eat and more on all of the healthy foods you can add to your diet.”
