Object History

Object History is owned by artist Chaz Hampton, and taking a gander around the shop inside Easton's Simon Silk Mill complex feels a little bit like stepping into an art gallery. The walls are collages of pictures, prints, logos and signs, while shelves are stocked with an eclectic mix of décor, books, records, collectibles and so much more. Of course, some of this “art” is wearable, too; the clothing racks are crammed with treasures. Hampton says he doesn't go looking for vintage goods at the usual places: “I don't really source so much, as things tend to kind of find me.”
