You have the classic button up with rolled up sleeves and dress pants for the guys and loose and fitted dresses for the ladies – always a pretty safe bet for a summer cocktail casual dress code.
Mixing prints, bold colors and throwing in a denim jacket—a casual approach to the summer cocktail casual attire, but works all the same.
We're going back to the prehistoric ages now (or 2014, same thing). Our first Best Of the Lehigh Valley Party also had a few summer cocktail casual gurus. Here you have the guys rolled up-button up look again. In a case like this, you could wear these button ups in a variety of ways: roll them up, keep them down, throw on a tie, or even a nice sport coat. We're partial to the jacket-no-tie look, but that's just us. And just as we said above, ladies can never go wrong with a printed dress.
