As an editor, one of my favorite ways to kick off a new year is by looking back at all of the stories we told in the one prior. When I think about 2023, I’m really proud of all the people and places we featured in the pages of Lehigh Valley Style. It was the year we celebrated new restaurants like Kabinett Wine Bar & Garden, The Vineyard di Norma, Steak & Steel and The Wilbur. (Have you dined at all four yet?) We toured local home renovations and went inside The Dery Mansion. We got to know locals like West End Allentown fashion designer Veena Chauhan (who graced our March cover) and Hagai Feiner, president of Easton’s boutique real estate management company Platform Five. In August, we sat down with legendary celebrity stylist Kate Young, and Style photographer Alison Conklin shared the emotional story of her heart transplant. We welcomed new businesses to the Valley like Toasted & Roasted, Belleville Market and Toastique. We talked to our region’s experts, shared local chef recipes, celebrated winning businesses (and pets!) and honored some of the Valley’s most influential men and women. We’re so happy to have you, our readers, along for the ride—and we can’t wait to show you what we have in store for 2024.
