When we learned that Oscar-nominated actress (and Allentown native) Amanda Seyfried had teamed up with her childhood best friends Anne Hoehn and Maureen North to launch Make It Cute, a company focusing on sustainable Play Decor™, we were instantly intrigued. The more we learned, the more we loved it. The three moms set out to reinvent a timeless classic—the children’s playhouse—in a way that was special, intentional and responsible. Using earth-friendly, sustainable materials, they’re making “creative kingdoms with a conscience.” The playhouses can be used over and over again and are fully recyclable. And while the trio no longer resides in the area, they continue to give back philanthropically to local elementary schools and organizations.
