We’ve been following Carolyn Dunham’s interior design journey for some time now. Her Instagram page @petersell_1808_home documents life in an early 1800s Pennsylvania farmhouse. Fortunately for us, that farmhouse happens to exist in Center Valley—and isn’t off-limits to the public. On pg. 38, Carolyn shares how she and her husband, Brad, came to be happy homeowners of the 4,500-square-foot home as well as its five-and-a-half-acre gentleman’s farm, which includes multiple barns. A lover of flea markets, antique stores and estate sales, everything in Carolyn’s home is curated and tells a story. If one of her finds doesn’t stick, you may be lucky enough to purchase it at one of her Petersell 1808 Home barns sales, where guests are invited seasonally to shop. Keep an eye out for one next month!
For more interior design inspo, look no further than Easton’s Townley House Boutique Hotel. On pg. 48, Creative Director of Gusto Group (the hospitality team behind Ocean, Three OAK Steakhouse and River Grille), Kate Gjevukaj, shares how they transformed the 150-year-old property into a vibrant and style-minded boutique hotel. From unique headboards to striking wallpaper, custom chandeliers and compelling art, it’s a design-lover’s dream. Start planning your weekend away!
On pg. 25, get to know Valley native Linda Magnavita, the founder and owner of Philly-based interior design studio Little Black House. You’re likely familiar with some of her work locally! And on pg. 21, Jessica Chavanne-Williams of Century 21 Ramos Realty shares her tips for home maintenance this month and all year round. Then, on pg. 58, Westside Grill combines our love of design with equally delicious food.
