Behind the Scenes Dollhouse Tour
to
Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts 427 North New Street, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania 18018
Witness the transformation of architecture, clothing, and furniture styles spanning across a hundred years through these elegantly embellished dollhouses, like the fascinating beauty of an 1895 English Townhouse or an 1890’s French Villa. American and European made, these houses exemplify the designs of well-known manufacturers, including Christian Hacker and Moritiz Gottschalk.
Guests will see the intricate, beautiful dollhouses in our newly renovated, state of the art, environmentally controlled Collections Resource Center! This vault provides visitors with a new way to view these exceptional artifacts in a safe, climate controlled home.
A special tour will be held on Friday, February 12, where guests will have an exclusive meet with the curator of the Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts, Lindsey Jancay. Offered at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
