Creating the Digital Landscape
to
Allentown Art Museum 31 North Fifth Street, Allentown, Pennsylvania 18101
The sheer power and splendor of nature in faraway places is the subject of Sam Krisch’s photographic practice. Krisch has journeyed to remote locations in Antarctica to capture stunning images of ice formations, the raw force of turbulent waters, and empty expanses.
Krisch’s images are digital captures processed using digital tools and methods that approximate film and traditional darkroom methods. His landscapes and portraits have been exhibited throughout the United States, and his prints are in corporate, museum, and individual collections. Krisch is also well regarded for his iPhone work, with an iPhone portfolio published in Photograph magazine.
