Northampton County Historical and Genealogical Society’s two-part celebration continues with an afternoon of festive family activities with a historical twist.
Spend Christmas in the Colonies with cider and early American holiday traditions at Bachmann Publick House (169 Northampton Street, Easton, PA 18042).
Experience a Victorian Christmas at the Mixsell-Illick House Museum: sample eggnog, help create a paper chain for the Victorian Christmas tree, take a picture with a Victorian Santa Claus, and listen to dramatic readings of A Visit from St. Nicholas (4th and Ferry Streets, Easton, PA 18042).
Head to the Sigal Museum for a Retro Christmas Party: enjoy a cup of punch, snack on seasonal treats, listen to Christmas carols, tinker with vintage toys at the 1950s nostalgic Christmas display, or make holiday cards with the kids.
