The Moravian Historical Society is opening its doors and inviting families to participate in an exciting series called Free Summer Sundays from July 3rd to August 28th. Enjoy a free fun filled afternoon with colonial games, arts and crafts, and admission to the museum.
Free Summer Sunday’s will be hosted on the grounds of the 1740/1743 Whitefield House in beautiful, downtown Nazareth from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. at 214 East Center Street, Nazareth, PA 18064.
Kids of all ages will enjoy going back in time with arts and crafts such as paper doll making and colonial games. Every Sunday features new and different activities!
A special feature this summer is the Changing Exhibition: “Diverse Voices: Three Perspective of Early Bethlehem”. This groundbreaking exhibition highlighting three different residents including an African slave, an American Indian woman, and a single woman. This eye opening presentation created from the individual’s personal diaries, community records, and resources helps us imagine what life was like in colonial Bethlehem.
