Gone to the Dogs! Historic Nazareth Walking Tour
Whitefield House 214 E. Center Street, Nazareth, Pennsylvania 18064
On September 10th, we encourage dog owners to bring their furry friends along on a dog-friendly Historic Nazareth Walking Tour: “Gone to the Dogs!” Participants and their four-legged pals will explore Nazareth, experiencing the history of the town’s oldest structures, and the art and culture of our town founders-the Moravians.
Nazareth Veterinary Center, P.C. proudly sponsors this family and dog-oriented event.
Two tours are offered: 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Groups will meet in front of the 1740/1743 Whitefield House at 214 East Center Street, Nazareth, PA 18064. Tours last 1-1 ½ hours, and are led by a guide in colonial Moravian dress. Each tour holds a maximum of 15 people, and each dog must be accompanied by an adult owner.
Dog owners must sign a waiver, provided by MHS before participating. Dogs must be polite and comfortable in groups. Owners should bring a water bowl, and water will be provided. No retractable leashes are allowed.
