Hands-On History Camp: "Science through History!"
The Whitefield House 214 East Center Street, Nazareth, Pennsylvania 18064
Join us for our popular Hands-On History camp June 20th through June 24th. This camp is a unique way for children to kick off their summer vacation in beautiful, historic Nazareth. Campers aged 8-12, will be immersed in history as they enjoy an abundance of arts, activities, games, and crafts. This year the camp will focus on “Science through History”. The campers will have the rare opportunity to work hands-on with local scholars and professionals who will lead exciting activities geared towards the evolution of science in local history.
Campers will explore the importance of electricity, create an exhibition with museum professionals, work with local food, plants, and animals, find out how medicine was used in the past, act out their own play, and many more events and activities!
The 2016 camp is sponsored by our friends at Just Born Quality Confections! They are offering free camp admission for twenty campers. Please complete our scholarship application.
