Four Monkeys Coffee presents Lisa Eshlemen Foster's Monkeying Around. This is an ongoing art show in our shop. You can view her awesome works anytime we are open or come between 4:30 - 8:00 PM on Thursday November 7th to meet the artist and discuss her artistic vision in person.
From the artist:
My art is based on realistic visions and the abstraction of vision. A snippet of color from the sky,
a bird on wing, a dumpster, sparkly snow on a branch, the way a person looks, or any of the
millions of things I am bombarded with daily all become ideas. Its provocative as well as
inevitable. I want to tell stories of life as I see it. The past, present and future are all assimilated
into working themes that weave throughout my entire body of work. It’s a flow of unequivocal
energy. My work seems messy because life is messy. I do not paint exactly what is there
because that is the work of cameras but I use what is there in world, including dreams, to make
my work.
