The Moravian Historical Society is pleased to announce that the 158th Annual Meeting, Lecture, and Reception will be held at The Whitefield House, October 11th, 2015 at 2:00 pm. The Whitefield House is located at 214 E. Center Street, Nazareth, PA 18064.
Members of the community are invited to witness history unfold as the Society members, staff, and board of managers perform a ritual meeting that dates to 1857. This meeting serves to share the activities performed by the Society in the past year, as well as outlining its plans for the future. Both questions and guest participation are highly encouraged.
At 3:00 pm, this year Rev. Dreydoppel will present a detailed look at the rarely covered history of Nazareth after the Moravian Historical Society was founded in 1857.
Following Rev. Dreydoppel’s presentation, guests will enjoy a reception with refreshments. Society staff and board of managers will mingle with guests and answer one-on-one questions.
