The brutal murder of Matthew, an openly gay college student, brought necessary attention to the lack of hate crime laws in this country. The play is a brilliant compilation of the company members' journal entries, published news reports and excerpts from interviews with hundreds of Laramie locals. The production is directed by Christopher Morris. For mature audiences. Performance contains profanity and violent imagery.
