The Alburtis Lockridge Historical Society is offering tours of the Thomas Iron Works at Lock Ridge complex. Come visit, view and learn about what was made here, what the ruins were and how important this facility was to Alburtis, the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania and in fact, America!
Tour times will be at 12:00 pm, and 6:00 pm.
Museum will be open at 11:30 am. the Museum will be closed during tours. Tours are approx. an hour and a half long. Please wear comfortable walking shoes. Dress appropriately. Don't forget your camera! Light refreshments and cold beverages will be served!
Please meet at the Alburtis Lockridge Headquarters, the Memorial Presbyterian Church at 407 Franklin Street, Alburtis, PA 18011 (corner of Church and Franklin Streets)
The event is free, but donations are accepted since this is a fundraising event.
