Time Capsule Opening Ceremony in Coopersburg

A three by one foot time tomb tucked away since 1958, has been found in a cornerstone at a historic South Main Street, Coopersburg site. Careful demolition of the old Pinebrook Junior College, formerly the Sisters of the Sacred Heart Orphanage, vacant since 1992, has unearthed the cement and marble encased time capsule.
An opening ceremony is slated for Saturday, November 15, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Coopersburg Borough Hall, 5 North Main Street, with members of the Coopersburg Historical Society on hand to help supervise the opening, and presentation of time capsule details.
