Whitefield After Dark: Best of Colonial Days
to
Whitefield House 214 E. Center Street, Nazareth, Pennsylvania 18064
The Moravian Historical Society is hosting a showcase event featuring twenty project winners from the annual Colonial Days event created by Nazareth Area School District’s 5th Graders. Hundreds of projects were created. The “top twenty” projects and their student creators will present the story of what it was like to be alive in the American Colonial Period to event guests.
The students were assigned different colonial professions. They researched their assigned profession and created small-scale models of what their colonial work rooms would have looked like. They wrote public presentations to explain their daily lives in Colonial America. Event guests will enjoy an unique opportunity to explore the past though the hard work of the Nazareth students at the colonial 1740/1743 Whitefield House!
The event is free, though a donation of $5 is suggested. There is ample free parking, off- and on-street.
