Get Out! for Wellness - Tumbling Waters Hike
Tumbling Waters is a 3 mile orange blazed loop beginning at the Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC). Trail is moderately difficult with an overlook of the Delaware Valley and Kittatinny Mountains in New Jersey, along with a series of switchbacks leading down to waterfalls. 2011-tumblingwaterstrailguide.pdf (peec.org)
Restrooms available at PEEC. Leashed dogs are permitted.
Directions: From I-80 E, take exit 309 for US-209 N/PA-447 N toward Marshalls Creek. Continue onto 209/447 for 3 miles. At the traffic circle, take the 1st exit and stay on 209 N for 8 miles. Turn left onto Bushkill Falls Road (1.5 miles), right onto Milford Rd (6.7 miles), right onto Thurner (.3 mi), and right onto Emery.
