Karl Stirner Arts Trail
Residents enjoy hot chocolate and conversation at Thrive during last year's Winter Solstice Walk event.
The seasonal tradition will begin with the reading of two new children’s books about the winter solstice at Thrive in Easton’s Silk complex (former Simon Silk Mill), 1247 Simon Blvd., while participants enjoy hot chocolate. Then Jeremy Joseph and his trumpet will musically lead the group across the candlelit bridge to the trail. Following music, there will be a poetry reading about winter and a prose reading about hope and the return of light. Joseph will conclude the program by playing “Taps.”
