Tucked away inside the beautiful Townley House hotel in Downtown Easton, general manager Cassondra Ruta calls Bar Bix a hidden sanctuary and a nice respite from the bustling streets of the city. “The outdoor area is lush and green with mature trees, tons of plants and a gorgeous view of the sunset,” says Ruta. “A place to enjoy a few drinks around a fire with your friends. We strive to set a nice vibe at Bar Bix with lighting, music and atmosphere.” Open to the public every Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., Bar Bix serves a variety of wine, beer and fabulous craft cocktails. “The entire menu at Bar Bix is special,” says Ruta, who suggests trying The Arsonist, their take on a smoked old fashioned.
