Just in time for Easton's signature cultural event of the year, The Riverside Festival of the Arts, one of the city's newer businesses—J. Morgan Salon and Home—is debuting its fresh, new gallery space with the works of an expressive, local artist.
Now through the end of September, the salon located on 252 Spring Garden Street, will feature the work of Beth Brader as the month's Artist in Residence. This is the second salon location opened by owners Jayson Morgan and Jamie Thomas in Easton in the last two years. The first is located on Cattell Street on College Hill.
The gallery space, located on the second floor, just seems like a natural extension for the salon as it already features a cozy home interiors store at the same location and is known for offering the first salon “Blow-Out Bar” in the Valley. Not to mention the partners believe strongly in supporting this particular aspect of the community.

"We have been fortunate to meet so many brilliant artists from the Easton and Lehigh Valley areas that we wanted to find a way to support them when we opened the Spring Garden location in Downtown Easton,” Thomas says. “This dedicated space does that, and continues to impress and inspire our salon and home store customers on a daily basis."
J. Morgan Salon and Home will be offering Brader's opportunity to other local artists, as well. Those interested should contact Jamie Thomas directly via the salon's website, jmorgansalon.com and provide links to any online portfolios they may have for review.
"Art comes in many forms: paintings, portraits, experiences and beauty,” Morgan says. “We're happy to introduce our clients to a few of the impressive artists of the Lehigh Valley in a beautiful, inviting space."
So don't forget to stop in while you are at the arts festival or during the salon's regular hours of operation and check out Brader's work during the month of September.
