After months of planning, construction and anticipation, College Hill salon J.Morgan opened their second Easton location on March 9th to much fanfare and excitement. More than 300 guests flocked to the Downtown Easton salon and home store that has been a longtime dream for co-owners Jayson Morgan and Jamie Thomas.
“It was fantastic to celebrate our new second location with the Lehigh Valley community,” Morgan says. “We had a great night with so many friends and neighbors, and can't wait to provide appointments—and a visit to the new home store—to those in the downtown Easton area.”
Mayor Sal Panto, Jr. led a ribbon-cutting ceremony, nearby Spanish/Caribbean eatery (and art gallery) Casera provided delicious bites and the public got to tour the rooms of this amazing historic building.
Much larger than their original locale, this salon/retail shop offers all of the haircuts and coloring customers are accustomed to, but what we're most excited about is their super-chic, New-York-style blow-out bar! Finally, the anxiety of styling your hair for that extra special occasion is eliminated with their clever “menu” of blow-out options. Prepare to feel like a celebrity.
The second floor features unique (and surprisingly affordable) home décor wares carefully selected by Thomas, who has nearly 20 years of experience as a former owner of an antique store in Nashville.
