After a long history at its location on MacArthur Road, owner Rick Safi made the decision to move King Kone to a new location. “We outgrew the current spot. The move was to take the business to the next level,” he shares, noting that their new home on Springmill Road in Whitehall offers more room, parking, more outside seating and the ability to make his own ice cream cakes. Despite a 33-year-long history at their former location, Safi says that the community is excited about the change. “They can't wait to sit on the deck and enjoy the view,” he says. This summer, enjoy 12 more available flavors and more vegan options, with a new soft vegan option. “Everything we make is a signature item,” says Safi. “My employees take pride in their creations which I have instilled in them that every sundae, cone or milkshake needs to be perfect.”
