With more than a decade of hair-care experience under her belt, owner Nastassia Lee Pratt opened her first salon suite called Mane & Thread in 2023. Immediately after, Pratt had the idea to introduce a head spa to the Valley and opened Mane Thairapy right next door, giving clients a brand-new offering to try. “Our mission is to provide the most blissful and relaxing experience, while removing all the chlorine, copper, calcium and buildup from the hair and scalp,” she says. “A head spa is more than just a beauty treatment; it's a comprehensive therapy that combines elements of massage, aromatherapy and skin care to provide a wonderful, relaxing experience.” And the benefits are endless. Pratt says that a head spa experience supports the health of one's scalp and hair, which can promote hair growth, deeper quality sleep, stress relief, migraine reduction, a balanced scalp pH and more. “Head massages release happy hormones like serotonin, oxytocin and dopamine,” she says. “Our goal is to make people happy and focus on mental health.”
