The Taste Smokers has been operating as a food truck since October 2018 and, despite the pandemic testing and nearly debilitating their business, Veronica and Quartez (“Q”) Moore took a leap of faith when the Community Action Committee of the Lehigh Valley approached them about their commercial leasing program. “We worked hard to get to where we are now,” says Veronica. “Q put in long hard days, sometimes doing so alone, to ensure that no matter the obstacle, The Taste Smokers would prevail.” They credit their amazing team with the restaurant's success and hope to serve as an incubator for others looking to get into the food industry or to explore entrepreneurship.
“We are creatives at heart. We want patrons to walk into the space and know they are in for an experience, not just a good meal,” says Veronica. “We want people to feel inspired by our space through the collaboration of visual, audible and food art.”
Promising the best smoked meats available, all of the food is made with love and attention to detail. Fan favorites include their brisket, dry-rub smoked ribs, GourMaQ & cheese, smoked salmon and Watcher's baked beans.
