Dads, your big day is coming up soon, so it's time to talk about fashion. There are certain style essentials, if you will, that can make or break your look. Take note of these tips to keep you on your a-game—hey, you may even want to put one of these on your Father's Day wish list.
Dark Denim
The wonderful thing about dark denim is that it can be a baby step toward jumping into fashion with both feet. From slim fit to wide leg, this look just works. With denim, the key is fit, so before you remove the tags, make sure they look good and fit in all the right places.
Fresh Sneaks
Sneakers of all shapes and sizes are making a major fashion comeback, but it's the white-sole that makes them so hot for summer. Whether you're keeping it casual, running the track or channeling your inner skateboarder, white soles can do no wrong! Pick the style you like and then choose an upper—the top part of the shoes that covers your toes—in any fabric or color variation you like. Just keep those soles white!
New Belt
A new belt is a good once-a-year investment. It's about way more than function these days, as reversible options can be twice as good. This is such an easy upgrade.
One Product
From pastes to putties, pomade, mousse, elixirs and oils, there is always that one thing that will transform a guy's hair. Paste, for instance, can be easily applied to wet hair, pushed back with hands and then you're done and out the door. One good product can make all the difference, so pick wisely, depending on the length and look.
Quick Grooming
Steal the trick that many of the industry's top leading men use. Like makeup for women, facial hair can contour, conceal and create new looks. With the right tools, it's easy, as clippers and trimmers can create endless options. But, not all hair is good hair, and if you can't see it, it can be hard to pluck. A good set of tweezers and a high-magnification mirror will allow for easy "manscaping" and the ability to not miss a hair.
The best thing about fashion today is that there is no longer "one right look" or "one right body type.” The great thing about my list above is that it creates lots of options to create easy updates that everyone will love!
