Valentine's Day is Stacy Dill's favorite holiday, and when it came to naming her shop, she couldn't think of anything she loved more than love. At Love Obsessed in Quakertown, she's able to spread love daily with fresh merchandise and inventory that make every customer's shopping trip a positive experience!

Tell us about how Love Obsessed came to be, and where the name came from!
Love Obsessed was born at my dining room table in January of 2012. I started designing my own line of jewelry and wanted to open an Etsy shop for it—just needed a name. I was a new mom to my six-week-old son, Nicholas, and I was planning a Valentine's Day-themed party for my family at the time. As I was sitting there trying to come up with a name, I was just thinking of how in love I was with love. And [the name] Love Obsessed just popped into my head.
What are some of the shop's most popular items that fly off the shelves?
Wow, this is a tough one to answer, because, honestly, we have so many styles that come into the store and sell out in a matter of hours. And if we show it during our Facebook Live Sales on Wednesday nights, it sells out in under a minute! But if I had to pick a few, it would be our cage tanks, lace knee leggings and KanCan jeans. Our customers love our denim! Women who normally live in leggings most of the time, I give them a few styles of KanCan to try on, and they instantly fall in love.
What are some items that readers may be surprised to learn the store carries?
We have an amazing selection of shoes and tons of gift items. Customers always comment that when they are in a pinch and need a last-minute gift, they always head to Love Obsessed because they know they will find something. But I have to say one of the more unique items we sell, and a best seller, would be our boob stickers. For tops or dresses where no bra will work, the boob stickers are a godsend. And I can't forget about the magnetic lashes, they sell out every time we restock them.
What types of occasions do people shop the store for?
The majority of our customers shop our store weekly. They know that what is there one day is often gone the next—and we put new styles on the floor daily. I think they are coming in that often because we not only sell pieces that you will wear every day, but we sell pieces that you will fall in love with—and that you won't find anywhere else. I always say you know how good your wardrobe is when you are packing for a vacation. If you don't have clothes you want to take away with you, then that's where we come in. Ladies always tell me that when they go on vacation, 90 percent of their suitcase is filled with Love Obsessed. I think our customers know that no matter what the occasion, they are going to find something amazing to wear at LO.
Tell us about the second location in Souderton.
The second location in Souderton was like a dream. I was born and raised in Souderton, so I always knew that I wanted to open a store there. When I found my location, I knew I had to do it. Even though it was only 15 minutes from my other store, it's home for me, so it just felt right. It's always scary opening a second location, or opening any business for that matter, but my customers are so supportive, and they wanted that Souderton store. I signed the lease and said let's do this. I carry totally different inventory at both locations, so most customers shop both stores. It makes me so happy to be able to own a store that people love to shop at, and when you can shop in the same community that you live in, nothing is better. My goal is five stores in five years—working on store number three right now.
Mother's Day is just around the corner. What's a gift that you would suggest?
We have hilarious mugs! One says, “Mom, no matter what life throws at you, at least you don't have ugly children.” And we just got this new hand-poured soy candle line in; it's a small, woman-owned business based in California. Her scents are so unique, like Moonshine and Mermaid. And the labels say things like, “Hey mom, sorry about my teenage years,” and “Hey mom, thanks for the ridiculously good looks.” But honestly, if you know your mom's wardrobe really needs an update, get her a gift certificate. She can come in, we'll take good care of her, and she'll leave feeling amazing in the new clothes she just got.
The shop hosts many events throughout the year. What's the best part about those?
We do host a lot of events, but I would have to say our Fashion Show Fundraiser that we do twice a year—in April and November—is the best one. It's a blast! Tickets always sell out. We have a packed house, the energy is amazing and the music is pumping. When the models start walking out in the latest fashions, people fall in love. After the show, we open the store up and everyone gets to shop the styles that they just saw on the runway.
