Hello readers! My name is Alyssa D'Ippolito and I'm the new editorial intern for the spring semester at Lehigh Valley Style! I'm a junior at Moravian College studying English and photography. While I do not live in the Lehigh Valley, I did grow up right outside of it and I've visited frequently for as long as I can remember. While I started here at Style before the holidays, it has been a crazy last few weeks. Now that things have calmed down, I can tell you that this is the experience of a lifetime!
It feels great writing Life in the Valley, web content and pulling together calendar events knowing that my work will be published in the magazine. I'm slowly learning the ropes around the office and learning more about myself as a writer, as well. It's nerve wracking when I make a mistake, but I know I can move on and redeem myself. By covering different aspects of the Lehigh Valley, it's incredible how much more I know about this small, but beautiful corner of the world.
