A good education has always been an important factor in success, and today's Moravian Academy graduates are better prepared than ever to make their mark in an uncertain world.
Teaching the skills to thrive in that world—Creativity, Curiosity, Perseverance, Empathy, Integrity and Excellence—is fundamental to the Moravian Academy mission. Classroom discussions at the co-educational college prep school focus on bigger ideas and deeper learning in an environment that's more about discovery than deadlines.
“The critical and creative ways our students respond to a constantly changing world is a continual source of inspiration for our entire community,” says new Head of School Adrianne Finley Odell. “Curiosity drives innovation here, and it's evident in our students' remarkable work.”
As they move towards the future with confidence, graduates can also feel proud knowing they're a part of a tradition of educational excellence dating back three centuries. From its roots in the first American Colonial girls' school established in 1742 to the 2020 merger with The Swain School, Moravian Academy has grown to over 900 students on three campuses across the Lehigh Valley.
