Wehrung's Macungie is the newest arrival to the Lehigh Valley's robust building scene. The third-generation home improvement, building and design center—formerly Dries Do It Center—is the first local acquisition for the Wehrung's family of businesses.
While the name may be new in the Lehigh Valley, the business has been owned and operated by the Wehrung family in Bucks County since 1946. First generation founders, Blanche and Woodrow “Woody” Wehrung, began the company after World War II with a truck, a backhoe and a purpose-driven mission.
Newly renovated, Wehrung's Macungie offers everything needed for home construction and renovation projects, including kitchen and bath design, flooring, drive-thru lumber yard, contractor services, and a comprehensive selection of tools, lawn and garden supplies, hardware, plumbing and much more.
Wehrung's customer service is legendary, as is their commitment to building relationships and maintaining partnerships in the community. “Knowing we're a part of something much bigger, like helping to grow and support our communities, keeps us motivated,” says President and CEO Jason Wehrung. “That's the Wehrung's way.”
