Opening its doors in 2018, The Center is based on a vision of Dr. Peters and his wife, Brenda, to offer women a medical practice that would provide unique and personalized care for healthy aging and menopause. “We were disappointed by the limited availability of options for menopause within the Lehigh Valley,” says Peters. “It was extremely frustrating to see my own wife suffer through this phase of her life. It was at this point that I decided to extend my own education as a reproductive endocrinologist, pursuing a fellowship in Integrative Medicine so that I might be able to incorporate new concepts into my traditional training. I never realized how great the need was for this type of medicine until I experienced it in my own family."

Since its inception, The Center has grown into a full wellness program focusing initially on women but then expanding to the treatment of men. “I noticed that as my female patients began to feel better, they started to refer their male partners. We are now enhancing the lives of many families as well as individuals," says Peters.
