Great hair doesn't come naturally (and if it does for you, then we're super jealous!). It takes a trusted stylist and a few stand-by products to maintain your look each day. Advice never hurts either, that's why Morgan shared a few no-fail tips to follow. Grab a pen!
Shapes & Styles
• A tapered hairline will give a wide neck a slimmer appearance.
• A blocked or blunt hairline is also a great option for creating a slimmer-looking neck.
• Curly hair is often better when notched (cutting short pieces of hair primarily on the top of your head) vs. thinned out.
Products
• Shorter styles are best styled with pastes and waxes.
• Styling products with a thinner consistency, such as creams or liquid pomades, are great options for styling medium-length hair.
• Don't be afraid to change it up: something as simple as using a different product can create an alternative look.
• Ask your stylist for a product sample before you purchase an entire bottle of it.
Maintenance
• Book haircuts for every three to six weeks to maintain a great cut.
• Always, always, always trim sideburns, ear hairs and eyebrows in between appointments. Leaving these areas unruly can ruin a great look.
• A clean scalp is a happy scalp. It increases circulation and unclogs pores, which will actually thicken thinning hair.
• If you see a guy with a great haircut, ask him who cuts it! He will no doubt appreciate the compliment and tell you where to go.
