This burger will have you chanting in no time, whether you are a Penn State fan or not. “All our burgers are named after college mascots and we tried to match the names with the burgers. The Nittany Lion, however, was a challenge since we could not find any lamb mascots. So the saying ‘out like a lion in like a lamb' is how it got its name,” says owner Buffy Billera.
The fire-grilled lamb burger sits between their house-made salsa, tzatziki and roasted garlic on a lightly toasted bun. “The salsa complements the tzatziki sauce just as the lettuce, tomato and onion complements a gyro,” says Billera. When asked what goes into making the burger, she simply responds, “Lots of love and our secret burger dust.”
