This winter, kick your hot cocoa up a notch! Enjoy a cup of delectable hot chocolate spiked with Franklin Hill Vineyards’ black cherry Fainting Goat wine and topped with whipped cream. “Chocolate and wine are a match made in heaven,” says owner Elaine Pivinski.
The spiked hot chocolate is available at all Franklin Hill locations during the winter months, “or on extra-chilly fall days when we all could use a nice cup of hot chocolate,” says Pivinski.
They love mixing their wines with different drinks, and Pivinski notes they sometimes add spirits from Social Still, which is owned and operated by her son, Adam Flatt. Another cozy favorite at Franklin Hill is the mulled Sir Walter’s Red, to which they add their Potion X (pumpkin spiced wine) and Social Still’s rum for that extra kick. “Sweet and spiced, we have this available every weekend,” says Pivinski.
