Good Morning America interviews LoPresti about the 120-year-old bridal gown she restored.
For more than 35 years, Deborah LoPresti has designed couture bridal gowns from her elegant salon in Easton, Pennsylvania. For these one-of-a-kind creations, she uses only the finest European fabrics and laces, such as Chantilly lace from France, embroidered organza from Switzerland and guipure lace from Italy. The ornate flourishes and hand-embroidered techniques include the appliqués of seed pearls and Swarovski crystals.
Couturier LoPresti has a passion and expertise second to none in restoring heirloom wedding gowns. She was nationally recognized early in her career by Women’s Day magazine for her artistry. Her recent work restoring a 120-year-old wedding dress for the 11th family bride was so spectacular that the story went viral.
A crystal-clear understanding of the bride’s vision of her dream dress comes to life after several fittings, Deborah’s tireless attention to detail and her impeccable workmanship. The final result is a dress that embodies the spirit of the individual and their unique wedding event.
In addition, she designs mother-of-the-bride dresses and one-of-a-kind dresses for special occasions. Make an appointment with Deborah and see a dream dress become a reality!
