It’s summer and it’s hot; there’s no point in trying to fight it, but you do need to dress for it. The best advice I have is to be conscious of your fabrics. Stay away from heavier synthetics or anything that can show sweat marks. Lean towards natural and/or lightweight fabrics like linen, cotton, chambray, etc. Here are three styles that will keep you looking and feeling cool in the hottest of heat.

Detailed Sundresses
This tie-back linen sundress is the ultimate stay cool dress. The fabric won’t cling, which is perfect for hot days, and the cut is a little fitted so the shape is very flattering.

Airy Shorts
I found these crinkly weave shorts from Urban Outfitters. They have a cinched waist and come in a few different patterns. They are on my list because you can throw them right over your swimsuit or wear them with a bodysuit or tank. For three more cover up options that double as off-beach attire, click here.

Cotton Jumpsuits
When I am going out, jumpsuits are usually one of my favorites. Because it can be hot and humid at night, I try to find styles that are off the shoulder and a little loose fitting. I found this bandeau jumpsuit from Asos and I love the wide leg. Plus, the color is a must have for summer!
